About the Job I am helping a family find a long-term Personal Support Worker (PSW) to work with a young man with autism. He has been living independently in his own apartment for over 4 years and is looking for support with light tasks and activities.
The PSW would provide support with:
- Transportation
- Grocery shopping and staying within a budget
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Food portioning and making balanced meal choices
- Light cleaning and keeping the apartment organized
- Social activities and outings
- Fostering Independence and enjoying activities in the community
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, punctual, dependable, and a good listener. Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
