Personal Care Assistant Needed For Son With Special Needs

About the Job Seeking a caring, dependable personal care assistant for our 9-year-old son. He is non-verbal, has a rare genetic condition (CACNA1A) and well-controlled seizures, and loves elephants, water, and food! You'll help with personal care (all ADLs), meals and eating, stander transfers, daily vision therapy, his vibration plate, and walks. Must be able to transfer and lift 85 lbs, give oral medications, and follow his emergency action plan. After school on weekdays (twice weekly to start, more if desired) plus occasional weekend date nights. $20-25/hr through Medicaid waiver; background check and waiver payroll enrollment required.
