Parttime Nanny For two Year Old Boy

About the Job We are looking for a consistent sitter to care for our 2-year-old while I (mom) run errands once a week and for date nights 2-3 nights a month. We are hoping to hire someone who can speak Spanish (not a requirement), be comfortable playing with our energetic kiddo, and is comfortable feeding/supervising small meals and snacks.

Patience, care, and attention to detail is important in our family. Our little one is testing boundaries right now and patience is the key to finding out what he really needs and wants from who he’s interacting with. He is very sensitive, observant, and picks up on new things very easily so we exercise talking to him at his physical level, waiting for his responses, and speaking to him like we do each other.

He loves riding his bike around our local park and playing instruments and dancing to music. He loves typical boy tailored toys and playing with his trucks and cars. He has just began to grasp pretend play and that’s a big part of our days at the moment.

I would really like to expand my son’s Spanish vocabulary to match his level of English which is what we mainly speak at home. His English vocabulary is beyond anything we expected for his age and important for us to nourish.

We’re hoping to find someone who speaks Spanish to help me teach my son to speak Spanish better than I can. He also loves music and playing instruments but I can’t handle loud noises for long due to migraines. Our little one also loves being read to and will sit for as long as you’ll read.

Our street has public parking and there is access to public transportation at the entrance of our street.
