About the Job We are looking for some help with our almost 2-year-old daughter, a few days a week. I work from home and need help with keeping her occupied and entertained while I get some work done, so I will always be home while you are here.
We’d like someone who can play with her and engage her as we don’t like to use too much screen time, someone with any child education background would be nice.
Someone capable of bending, lifting and able to move a lot would be ideal as she likes to be picked up for comfort and is always on the move.
We don’t require any housekeeping outside of picking up after her only. Same goes with cooking as only food needing preparation for her is needed, and mostly that will just be heating up food and cleaning up after her meals.
This is mostly temporary for the time being as I will be going on maternity leave at the beginning of the year. Potential for work after may be an option.
My daughter loves to play, read and explore. She is a busy body but loves to sit once in a while to watch her movie obsession right now, Toy Story 5.
We are looking for someone compassionate, fun, playful and all around enjoys being with children. Our daughter is a pretty good judge of character and her being comfortable with someone will tell us plenty.
We live in a suburban neighborhood so plenty of parking. Unfortunately we are in an area that does not have public transportation close by so having a car is mandatory.
