About the Job We’re expecting our first baby this spring and are looking for a kind, experienced postpartum doula to help us overnight during those first few weeks. My husband will be starting CRNA school shortly after the baby is born, and while we’ll have family support, having some dedicated overnight help would give us a lot of peace of mind during such a big transition.
I’m a lactation nurse and plan to breastfeed, so I’d love someone who is very comfortable supporting that while helping me get as much rest as possible - bringing baby to me to feed, then helping with diaper changes, burping, soothing, and getting baby settled back to sleep.
