Occasional Babysitter

About the Job I’m a mom looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible babysitter for my son on an occasional, as-needed basis. I’m not looking for a full-time or recurring nanny arrangement, but rather someone available for occasional date nights, evenings out, or daytime help when needed.

My biggest priorities are my son’s safety, well-being, and having someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children. I’m looking for someone attentive, patient, nurturing, dependable, and communicative who will treat my son with kindness and respect. I want to feel confident that he is in good hands while I’m away.

Our Christian faith is a very important part of our family and the way we raise our son, so finding someone whose values align with ours is especially important to me. Ideally, I’d love to build a relationship with a sitter I can trust and feel comfortable reaching out to whenever we need occasional help!

My son enjoys fun, engaging activities, but sometimes babysitting may be as simple as having a cozy movie night together! One thing to know is that he can have a hard time settling down for bedtime when my husband and I aren’t home. Ideally, I’d love to find someone who is patient, nurturing, and comfortable helping him wind down and feel safe enough to fall asleep. I understand this may take some time and getting used to, so I’m looking for someone who is gentle, understanding, and willing to work with him rather than force the process.
