About the Job Our family values patience, kindness, understanding, consistency, and open communication. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. Both toddlers have unique developmental needs, so having a caregiver who understands autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and different communication styles is very important to us. We value a calm, structured, loving environment where our children feel safe, supported, accepted, and encouraged to grow.
I have two toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, and each child has their own personality, strengths, and individual needs. They may require extra patience, supervision, redirection, and support with communication, transitions, routines, and sensory sensitivities. It’s important to understand that they may express their emotions differently or become overwhelmed at times. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, attentive, gentle, and experienced or willing to learn how to care for children with special needs. Most importantly, we want someone who will treat them with love, respect, patience, and understanding while encouraging their independence and development.
