About the Job -Support the individual's ASD and cognitive/developmental disabilities by following a structured routine that incorporates positive behavioral supports, sensory regulation, humor, music, and word play. Support the individual with personal care and hygiene needs. Daily activities include leisure time, medical routines, meal preparation, community outings, and hygiene. -A calm and proper response to a seizure, should one occur. -Transport the client in a family-owned car to appointments, community outings, and caregiver-led activities. -Complete and maintain daily documentation of schedule, medication, and any issues -Perform light cleaning, cooking, and other tasks, as needed to support activities of daily living.
