About the Job Seeking a loving after-school caregiver for our amazing 8-year-old son every other week! He is the happiest, sweetest, snuggliest little guy. He is nonverbal and learning to use an AAC device, loves to play, and enjoys being around people. He is non-ambulatory but can crawl and is learning to use his wheelchair independently.
Hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 2:00-5:00/6:00 PM, with occasional Tuesdays/Thursdays until 8:00 p.m. and optional weekend respite hours. We prefer someone who can pick him up from school at 2:15 p.m. (wheelchair fits in a standard vehicle), assist with transfers (he is ~55 lbs), provide a snack, and play with him. One parent works from home and is available if needed.
