About the Job I'm looking for a tutor for my son, who is currently in 5th grade. He needs support with homework, studying for upcoming tests and quizzes, and strengthening his overall academic skills.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone who has experience working with reluctant readers and students with learning difficulties. Experience in special education is a plus, but a special education certification is not required.
Schedule: 2 days per week/ 1 hr each day
Focus: Homework help, test and quiz preparation, reading support, and study skills
Experience: Familiarity with different learning styles and the ability to make learning engaging and build confidence
I'm looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, and able to meet him where he is academically.
