Original job description
About the Job Hi! I'm looking for an in-home math tutor for my 7th-grade daughter, in the Rock Tavern NY area.
She is struggling with math and has gaps in foundational skills. Her teacher has explained that she sometimes struggles to apply the correct strategy independently, even when she can work through problems with guidance.
I'm looking for someone patient and experienced with middle-school students who need to rebuild earlier math skills while keeping up with their current curriculum. I'd like the tutor to focus on understanding concepts, proportional relationships, problem-solving strategies, and independent test-taking skills.
