Original job description
About the Job Hi,
I'm looking for a private reading tutor for my 6-year-old son, who is currently in first grade.
He needs some extra help with phonics, sounding out words, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. I'm hoping to find someone who enjoys working with young children and can make learning fun through stories, games, and interactive activities rather than just worksheets.
Ideally, I'm looking for tutoring twice a week, about 3045 minutes per session, preferably in person in Tracy.
My budget is around $16$25 per hour. College students studying education, child development, or related fields are welcome to apply.
I'm looking for someone patient, responsible, friendly, and comfortable working one-on-one with a young child.
