About the Job We're looking for an early-childhood teacher to work one-on-one with our 2-and-a-half-year-old son. He's polite, energetic, and loves to learn. He counts to 100 and by 10s, knows his 2D and 3D shapes, knows his phonics, and asks questions about the body, science, and geography. He's way ahead of his age, and we're challenged to keep up.
When and where: Thursdays (Mondays or Tuesdays can work as well) at 10am, 45 mins to an hour, at a public library Downtown or on Capitol Hill.
We'd like:
- Early-childhood training
- Experience with young children who are ahead of their age
- Short, playful STEM-based lessons that follow his love of robots and rockets
- Short written session recaps
We can provide a written plan and materials if needed. If it's a good fit, we can commit to a one-year program.
