About the Job In-Home Tutor Needed – 6th Grade (Long-Term)
I am seeking a patient, experienced, and highly reliable in-home tutor for my 11-year-old son in the Pelham Bay area of the Bronx, 3 days per week after school.
My son has an IEP and needs support with math, reading comprehension, homework, and organizational skills. The ideal tutor will identify learning gaps, explain concepts step by step, adapt teaching methods to his needs, and help build his confidence and academic independence.
Reliability, consistency, and commitment are extremely important. I am looking for someone who can commit to the entire school year, as frequent cancellations or changes in tutors can disrupt his progress.
Experience working with middle school students and children with IEPs is strongly preferred.Job basics How often: Part timeHourly rate: $20.00 - $29.00/hourWho we're looking for
