About the Job I am a homeschooling mom of three looking for extra support to help fill in the gaps, in particular with my9-year-old daughter. I am a former classroom teacher, so I would be writing and planning all the sessions. Your time would be spent helping to reinforce skills already taught. She is pretty far behind academically and her self-confidence is very, very low right now with all things school. Most adults are able to tutor in a 1st - 3rd grade curriculum so I’m really looking for more of a personality fit. She needs someone who is extra encouraging, warm and nurturing, reassuring and kind, but will also hold her accountable for completing what needs to be done for school and for making progress. We are also in the process of having her tested for learning disabilities and ADHD. This would be a very flexible position, and the hours/days might look a little different each week, but happy to work with you on that.
