Handson Care Needed For Stroke Survivor

About the Job Searching for hands on caregiver for 78-year-old stroke survivor. She has minimal/no use of her legs and right arm; left arm is functional and as such she can feed herself. However she is bedbound, and her care needs reflect this.

Requirements:

Must have strong organizational skills, including experience with managing and administering medication, and keeping statistics/logs (vitals, care notes, etc). Light housekeeping (meal prep, basic cleaning, laundry). Ability to turn care recipient to prevent bedsores. Care recipient is catheterized but needs assistance with toileting functions. Sponge bathing in place required as well. CPR/First aid training. Caregiver is also meant to provide companionship; personality fit will be a strong consideration.

Non smoker strongly preferred.
