About the Job Senior Sitter/Companion Needed Seeking a caring, dependable, and patient sitter for a senior with diabetes (controlled with diet), a heart condition, and mild dementia. Schedule: • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. • Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. • Pay: $14/hour - very light work. Daily Routine: • Breakfast: 8:30 a.m. • Lunch: Noon (provided at Council on Aging on scheduled days) • Dinner: 5:00 p.m. • Council on Aging: 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on scheduled days. Responsibilities: • Check and record blood sugar in the morning and evening. • Administer morning and evening medications. • Assist with dressing, meals, and companionship. • Light daily upkeep of the bathroom, bedroom, and laundry.
