Handson Care Needed For Elderly Loved One In Wheaton

About the Job The ideal candidate will be a CNA with experience (five years+ is preferred) who is dedicated, reliable, caring, and independent-minded. The caregiver will be responsible for the safety and well-being of our loved one who is living with advanced stages of Parkinsons Disease. Responsibilities will include personal care essentials such as sponge bathing, hair washing, dressing, helping with transfers (one-person transfer with use of gait belt), toileting, and face shaving. Assistance getting the patient to spend time outside when the weather is nice, or playing cards or table games. We are also looking for help with light housekeeping and laundry; medication reminders; and assistance with meal prep. Someone who has training and experience with Parkinsons Disease and hospice care is a plus.
