About the Job Male in 60s with advanced dementia. Physically able. Seeking caregiver experienced with dementia and managing agitation. Recipient is often agitated by changing and bathing; caregiver may be responsible for both and must be calm and patient, allowing time for him to get comfortable. Should engage with him through conversation, music, or walking. Duties: simple meal prep (food provided), daily laundry as needed, and dishes (dishwasher provided). Must keep him safe and on the property. Two cats in the home, so should like cats. Help needed daily or almost daily; live-in option can be discussed. Nursing or medical familiarity is a plus. Familiarity with solutions that ease dementia symptoms preferred. Looking for a dementia expert to help navigate.Job basics How often: Full timeHourly rate: $15.00 - $26.00/hourWho we're looking for
