Elementary Reading Tutor Needed Phonics Reading Intervention 2nd Grade

About the Job Hello! I'm seeking an experienced reading tutor for my second-grade daughter, who currently reads at a kindergarten level. Ideally, the tutor will be a Florida-certified K-6 teacher with training in Structured Literacy or the Science of Reading and experience supporting struggling K-2 readers.

My daughter has strong listening comprehension but struggles with phonics, blending, decoding, and independent reading. She learns best through hands-on activities, visual examples, repetition, and step-by-step instruction. Patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement are important.

My goal is to strengthen her foundational reading skills, fluency, and confidence. Sessions will be held in person at a public library.Job basics How often: Part timeHourly rate: $15.00 - $25.00/hourWho we're looking for
