About the Job Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Pay: $13. 88/hour Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:00 p.m. Funding: Virginia DD Waiver

Seeking a dependable, caring, and patient individual to provide one-on-one support to a young person with disabilities who uses a wheelchair.

Responsibilities include: assisting with personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals, wheelchair mobility and transfers, daily activities, positioning, safety, companionship, and community activities. Worker will follow the individual’s care plan, assist with approved appointments and outings, monitor safety, and report concerns to the parent/guardian.

Must be reliable, respectful, trustworthy, and comfortable providing hands-on support. Required DD Waiver training and documentation must be completed.
