About the Job I'm looking for a kind, dependable person to hang out with my son Nick, who is 28 and has autism. We're in Studio City. Mornings include breakfast and helping him get ready for his day. Evenings include spending time together, movies, bowling, reading, sitting with him during meals to support table manners, and helping him follow his bedtime routine. Hours: Monday-Friday: approximately 7:30-10 a.m. Saturday: 6-10 p.m. Sunday: 7-10 p.m. Pay: $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience. Autism experience is required; an RBT background is a bonus! You'll follow his care plan and learn what helps when he becomes frustrated or overwhelmed. Caregiver primary objective will be to keep him on his routine and to insure he is safe. There will always be someone else in the home in addition to the two of you.
