About the Job We’re looking for a dependable, caring, and patient person to pick up our daughter from school in Encinitas, drive her to our home in San Elijo, and help her with homework.
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, Monday through Thursday (days needed each week may vary from time to time). Hours: 2:45–5:15 p.m.
The ideal person enjoys working with children and can help create a positive after-school routine while encouraging confidence, organization, and independent learning.
Responsibilities
- Pick up our daughter from school on time and drive her safely home.
- Help her get settled and organized for homework.
- Provide patient homework support, explain concepts clearly, and help her stay focused.
- Encourage her to work through problems and develop good study habits.
- Communicate with us about completed assignments and anything she may need additional help understanding.
