About the Job My mother will be staying with me for the winter in my downstairs bedroom and I am looking for care for her to give me flexibility for time for myself. She is very sharp minded but has compromised ambulation, feeling unsteady and using a walker. Her eyesight has degraded though she still enjoys tv and listening to books. She has interest in art, puzzles, and history and companionship.
I am looking for someone who will be able to bathe and assist with dressing and meals. Generally this task will include simple breakfast (cereal, eggs, juice and fruit etc) and lunch (again simple like sandwiches, soup, salads). She is not a fussy eater but does not like dairy products, especially cheese.
I will never be far away from home and generally in the condo complex. You will be responsible for her laundry, tidying her room and keeping her toilet area clean. She is very personable and a pleasure to be with.
