About the Job Looking for a long term, on call/back-up companion for my 76yr old sister with mild dementia.
This position requires someone who is looking for occasional part-time work to cover current caregivers' vacations and holidays. Prefer someone who lives in the Wheaton/ Carol Stream area who is willing to pop in and out 3 times daily for a hour or two at a time.
Daily tasks include:
- Check in around 8:30 to ensure she's up and meds are taken, she and her dogs have eaten breakfast, and her water bottle is refilled for the day. Then take her on errands as needed.
- Mid-day- Ensure she has lunch and is drinking her water
- Check in around 7 p.m. to ensure she and her dogs have eaten and had their night meds, and ensure she drank all her water.Job basics How often: Full timeHourly rate: $30.00 - $30.00/hourWho we're looking for
