AfterSchool Helper Needed Poughkeepsie Town

About the Job I'm looking for a warm, caring, and responsible Mandarin-speaking childcare helper for my 5-year-old son.

We're hoping to find someone who can come to our home 23 afternoons per week, from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 or 7:00 PM, to help with after-school care.

A little about what we're looking for:

• Meet my son after school and spend the afternoon with him at our home.
• Prepare a simple after-school snack.
• Enjoy playing, reading, and engaging in fun activities together. A play-based approach is preferred, with some educational activities woven in.
• Help with a few light tidying-up tasks related to the afternoon.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, is patient and engaging, and can speak Mandarin with him to help build his language skills.Job basics How often: Part timeHourly rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hourWho we're looking for
