About the Job We are looking for a caring, responsible, and dependable after-school sitter to provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for our child(ren). The ideal candidate is warm, patient, organized, and enjoys engaging with children while helping them transition smoothly from school to home.
Responsibilities
- Pick up child(ren) from school and ensure safe transportation home.
- Supervise and care for child(ren) after school.
- Assist with homework or instrument practice.
- Prepare simple snacks and meals possible dinner prep.
- Encourage outdoor play.
- Help maintain a tidy environment by cleaning up after activities and meals.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child(ren)’s activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Follow family routines and prioritize the safety and well-being of the child(ren) at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous childcare or babysitting experience preferred.
Valid drivers license and vehicle
- Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Patient, attentive, and nurturing.
- Strong communication skills.
