Paint Prep Cleaner 2nd Shift

Summary/Objective The Paint Prep Cleaner position is responsible for cleaning and preparing parts for paint / powder coating process on the paint line. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Cleaning and preparing parts for painting including plugging and masking parts to be painted.
• Grind parts to remove sharp edges.
• Use overhead crane to move parts to wash area.
• Remove slag from workpieces in raw stock stage before painting.
• Forklift operation or willing and able to be trained to safely operate a forklift
• Must identify, store, stack, organize and stage product.
• Sweeping, cleaning, removal of trash, and scrap.
• Preventative maintenance as required.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience.
• Crane and forklift experience is preferred.

Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
