he Patrol Division under general direction, serves, patrols and investigates incidents in the enforcement of law and order in the protection of life and property. Patrols a designated area for the prevention of crime and the enforcement of traffic laws and regulations, makes building checks, responds to radio and telephone dispatches and appears at scenes of disorder or crime, makes arrests, issues citations, appears in court as arresting officer.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS **
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: None
Must be able to pass a background check
Must successfully complete and exam by a physician and a psychologist
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must successfully pass a physical assessment, and written exam
Must possess a valid driver's license
