We welcome candidates with experience in: - Residential framing, including walls, floors, and roofs - Interior and exterior trim carpentry - Door and window installation - Cabinetry, shelving, and custom woodwork - Decks, porches, siding, and other wood structures - General residential construction and finish work - Reading plans, taking accurate measurements, and safely operating carpentry tools We are also hiring candidates with backgrounds in concrete, landscape construction, unit pavers, masonry, equipment operation, and general construction . Capitols primary business is designing, manufacturing, and installing CFP Flexi-Pave, a porous, flexible pavement used for sidewalks, trails, tree surrounds, and other applications. Our products and methods help preserve trees, manage stormwater runoff, and reuse recycled materials. We provide training in our specialized materials and installation methods. Pay, Benefits and Growth We offer competitive pay based on experience, skills, and responsibilities, with opportunities to advance. Candidates who can lead a crew, drive a company truck, or operate machinery may qualify for higher compensation. Benefits begin after a four-month probationary period and include: - Paid sick days, holidays, and vacation - Paid healthcare - Paid continuing education, including approved classes, training, trade schools, or college - Annual performance reviews and raises commensurate with experience and performance Available Work Opportunities include local carpentry and residential construction work, warehouse and manufacturing plant positions, and traveling field installation crews. Statewide travel is required for field installation crews, with paid per diem, food, and lodging provided.
