Original job description
We are seeking an experienced Dirt / Grading Foreman to lead earthwork and grading operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position will supervise field crews, coordinate equipment and daily production, interpret plans and grades, and oversee excavation, cut/fill, compaction, aggregate placement, and fine grading activities.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have:
- Heavy civil earthwork/grading experience
- Crew leadership experience
- Strong plan and grade-reading skills
- Knowledge of GPS/machine-control grading systems
- Experience with dozers, excavators, graders, loaders, compactors, and other heavy equipment
- Strong safety, leadership, and communication skills
