Construction Laborer

Project Location: Throughout the Four Corners Area Employer: Canyon Construction Company Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, or per prevailing wage Job Summary The Construction Laborer supports field operations on job sites, assisting with site preparation and general labor tasks such as; shoveling, backfilling, compacting trenches and working with small tools and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor including but not limited to digging, lifting, and backfilling
• Assist equipment operators
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies and supervisor instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Driver’s License preferred; Must be valid state issued
• Must comply with all site safety requirements
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. with ease
