Maintenance Manager Location: Hazleton, PA Shift: 1st Shift, Mon - Fri Reports to: Plant Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the Maintenance Department at the manufacturing site. This position oversees the maintenance of facility and equipment and the purchasing of related materials and components. Reports to the Plant Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and schedules
• Direct and manage the electrical and mechanical maintenance needs of the facility.
• Develop and maintain a computerized inventory of parts and equipment.
• Establish and maintain an inventory of spare parts.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve problems and oversee the installation of new equipment.
• Review inspection and repair reports.
• Monitor major overhauls to evaluate work progress, efficiency, and quality.
• Establish programs to reduce equipment downtime.
• Manage the Maintenance Department, including direct reports and employee performance evaluations.
• Partner with Engineering on site-specific projects and CAPEX.
• Ensure proper and functional operation of plant equipment.
• Work with the Plant Manager on the development and preparation of the maintenance budget.
• Provide or direct training as needed.
• Manage the site work order system.
• Prepare monthly department reports, quarterly PM reports, and an annual department improvement plan.
• Provide 24/7 plant support by phone.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as a supervisor or maintenance project leader.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate, technical, or other education beyond high school.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or continuing education and/or certifications in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Electrician certification.
• Mechanic certification.
• Experience with FIIX software.
