Registered Behavioral Technician

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Location: Ashford, AL (Houston County) Pay: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience (paid biweekly) Schedule: Regular, full-time, long-term. 25 to 35 hours per week, day shift. Hours vary.

About the Role Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to give direct, one-on-one ABA therapy. You'll work mainly with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). No experience is needed.

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
• Follow each client's individualized treatment plan and behavior intervention plan
• Collect and record session data accurately
• Respond calmly and safely to challenging behavior
• Communicate with the supervising BCBA about client progress
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow professional and ethical standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old (required by the regulatory board)
• Must complete the 40-hour RBT training course before hire. The course is free.
• Must earn RBT certification within 90 days of hire
• High tolerance for challenging behavior in children with special needs
• No prior experience required
