Job Description:
Calvin Community emphasizes individualized care delivered by a team of dedicated professionals. This role is ideal for someone looking to enter the healthcare field or seeking meaningful work in an assisted living.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Daily Living Assistance: Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Serve meals. Help residents with mobility.
- Health Monitoring & Support: Document care provided and observations in resident medical records.
- Environmental & Operational Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas. Attend to resident needs as they arise throughout your shift
Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassionate, people-centered attitude
- Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and follow established care procedures
- CNA's are highly encouraged to apply
- Experiance caring for those with dementia
- Education High School Diploma/GED
- Experience Entry Level (0-2 years)
