The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior-level Full-Stack Software Developer to join the CNRFC N6 Enterprise Application Support team, supporting U.S. Navy Reserve business systems. The contract covers full lifecycle support, including web and mobile-responsive development, SharePoint, AI/ML, data warehousing, system administration, networking, and AWS cloud services. Key systems supported include the Navy Reserve Homeport, REAL, RFMT, and the Navy Reserve Data Warehouse, hosted in AWS and Azure environments. These platforms serve over 75,000 Navy Reserve personnel across multiple components. In this role, you will collaborate with managers, analysts, testers, and developers to design and deploy web-based business systems.

This is a remote opportunity, and it would be preferred if the candidate resided near the VA Beach/ Norfolk/Chesapeake areas but it is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop end-to-end features by building responsive user interfaces in React and secure back-end services in ASP.NET
  • Design and develop database layers utilizing Entity Framework Core to interface efficiently with SQL Server
  • Build and deploy applications with automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to
  • deliver code smoothly to staging and production environments
  • Optimize application performance across the entire stack, from front-end React components to back-end SQL query tuning
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including providing daily standup updates, estimating story points during sprint planning and demonstrating iteration accomplishments during sprint demo/retrospectives
  • Conduct constructive code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security and maintainability
  • Write automated tests using frameworks like xUnit/NUnit, Vitest or React Testing Library
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug complex issues and to address technical debt and production bottlenecks
  • Mentor junior team members while stepping up to lead feature initiatives independently

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or Software Engineering; in lieu of the degree requirement, the applicant must possess one of the following certifications: Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  • 7+ years of experience developing with ASP.NET, React, Node.js, and relational databases.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, JSX/Angular Templates, and T SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET, JavaScript, Node, React, and MS SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns.
  • Experience using project management and issue-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jira.
  • Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and successfully drive multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to complex environments; experience with AWS, Azure, or SaaS development is a plus.

Desired:

  • Experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, MCP servers) and knowledge of AI/ML concepts including Generative AI, vector stores, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG
  • Experience developing software within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience building and maintaining business systems for the Department of War or the Navy Reserve, including responsive web applications for desktop and mobile
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing production environments (Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Nexus, IIS, SQL Server, Windows Server) CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications
