Welder Helper

Location: Ault, Colorado Pay Range: $18.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Overview

C&H Solutions is looking for a dependable, hardworking Welder Helper to join our welding and fabrication team in Ault, Colorado.

The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment. This position will assist our experienced welders and fabricators with daily operations, material preparation, equipment handling, and maintaining an organized and productive work area.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist fabricators with daily shop operations and projects.

• Transport, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the shop.

• Operate machinery and equipment as directed and properly trained.

• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.

• Handle and prepare tools and materials needed for welding and fabrication projects.

• Assist with disassembling defective products or components for repair.

• Prepare raw materials for fabrication, including measuring, cutting, grinding, and cleaning as directed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Perform additional shop duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous welding, fabrication, construction, mechanical, or shop experience is preferred but not required.

• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is helpful.

• Willingness to learn welding and fabrication processes.

• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.

• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving materials throughout the workday.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
