Elementary (K-5) Classroom Teacher

Percent Employed: 100% Months of Employment: 7 Position Type: Interim Level of Benefits: Full benefits Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [10.5% - 18% local supplement] Position Purpose: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. Click to view the Teacher job description. Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree (click here for more info about Master's pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
• Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
