Wound Care Nurse

Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) Brookside Commons is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Wound Care Nurse to support the health and comfort of our residents. This is an hourly, full-time position on Day Shift. What You’ll Do

• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ wounds and skin conditions.
• Develop and carry out wound care plans in collaboration with residents, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform wound treatments and monitor residents’ response to care.
• Help identify and address risks for skin breakdown.
• Educate and support staff on wound prevention and treatment practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable care standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Current Michigan RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Wound care certification required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• A resident-centered approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
