Business Job Title: IT Intern

Job Summary:

The IT Intern will support Broan-NuTone's Applications team by contributing to technology initiatives that improve business processes, data insights, and user experiences across the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to software development, business intelligence, AI technologies, application support, and enterprise systems. The intern will collaborate with experienced IT professionals while gaining practical experience working on real-world projects that drive business value.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, testing, and enhancement of business applications and software solutions.
• Assist in analyzing and validating data to identify trends, improve data quality, and support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
• Participate in AI-related initiatives, including testing, validation, and process improvement projects.
• Help track, diagnose, and resolve application issues while supporting ongoing system improvements.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to end users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support business technology needs.
• Assist with documenting processes, system configurations, and technical solutions.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, part-time work, volunteer, project, or campus leadership experience.
• Coursework or experience related to the department or business area.
• Interest in learning about the company, industry, and potential career paths.

Schedule and Duration This internship is expected to run from June through August The anticipated schedule is full-time, with work performed onsite and remote based on business needs.
