Maintenance Tech, Temporary 2nd shift

Schedule: Temporary role | Full-time, 40 hours a week | Monday - Friday | 2:30pm-11:00pm Department: EVS | Porter Hills Village | Grand Rapids, MI

What You’ll Do:

The Maintenance Technician will assist in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc.
• Conduct cleaning and upkeep of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and other infrastructure.
• Coordinates daily Maintenance services with department involved when performing routine assignments
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 4 years of experience in a maintenance position, required.
• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, air conditioning, pneumatic building ventilation controls, as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, required.
• Computer experience, required.
• High school diploma.
• Valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license, required.
