What You’ll Do As a Systems Administrator at Bridgers & Paxton, you'll play a key role in keeping our IT infrastructure running smoothly across multiple offices, managing servers, networks, software systems, and cloud-based environments. Working alongside a small, collaborative IT team, you'll troubleshoot technical challenges, maintain and improve system performance, and help ensure our employees have the reliable technology they need to do their best work. We're looking for someone with hands-on systems administration experience who is comfortable managing IT infrastructure, solving technical challenges independently, and continuing to grow their skills. You don't need to know everything on day one, but a strong technical foundation, initiative, and willingness to learn are essential.

Required Technical Qualifications

• Active Directory Services and Management, Including: DHCP, DNS, Bitlocker, Group Policy, PKI Services, etc.
• Windows File Server Management (Mapped Drives, Permissions (ACLs/SACLs), Folder Structures & Security Auditing)
• Hyper-V Administration (Performance, Best Practices, Security, Data Safety)
• Network Administration – Physical and Logical (Routing, VLANs, Network Infrastructure)
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), or experience with comparable endpoint management solutions.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Fortinet Products (Firewalls, Analysis, Best Practices)
• Storage Systems (SANs, iSCSI, Best Practices, Performance & Maintenance)
• Application Deployment and Packaging
• System Imaging and Deployment (PXE, DHCP)
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation, particularly related to Active Directory, Microsoft Graph, and other system administration functions.
• Microsoft on-prem and 365 Administration
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
• Documentation Creation (Technical Writing, Instructional Documentation)
• NIST 800-171 R2 & R3 Compliance (Policies & Procedures, Documentation, Change tracking)

Compensation & Benefits We offer an excellent benefits package, including a fully-paid health care plan, retirement plan, vision, dental, and cafeteria plan. The salary range is between $60,000 and $80,000 depending on experience.
