Boxborough is seeking an experienced and collaborative Human Services Director to lead the Town’s efforts to strengthen the programs and services that support residents of all ages. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Town’s Human Services Team, programs and services.
- Oversee the Council on Aging, Community Services, Recreation, and Veterans Services.
- Develop and improve programs and facilities based on the evolving needs of the community.
- Build strong partnerships with residents, volunteers, boards, community organizations, and regional agencies.
- Identify grant opportunities and new resources to expand services.
The Ideal Candidate The Town is seeking an experienced collaborative leader strong communicator, creative problem-solver, and with experience in human services or community programming. Experience leading a municipal Council on Aging is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Proven leadership, program-management and personnel management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A bachelor's degree in human services, social work, public administration, gerontology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Salary: Expected Hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000, and the full salary range is $80,000 - $111,600.
