Journeyman Lineman Electric Division Pay Rate: $51.36 per hour
Summary: This full-time, hourly position, represented by the Bowling Green Municipal Employee’s Association union, is responsible for constructing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all parts of the City’s electrical system.
Job Responsibilities: Operate selected equipment, maintain service lines, analyze and repair outage situations, connect new customers to power, maintain street lights, communicate with the public. Must be able to work outdoors at elevated heights, in all weather conditions, and in close proximity to electrical hazards.

Experience and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of a Lineman apprenticeship program, Commercial Class A driver’s license, three to five years relevant experience which provides the required skill sets to perform the essential functions of the job.
