Original job description
Position Title: Paralegal
Two attorneys, a heavy plaintiff personal injury docket, and a firm that expects its paralegals to take ownership of the case file. This litigation team handles every matter from petition through discovery and motion practice, and it relies on a paralegal who stays ahead of deadlines and keeps cases moving. The partners work alongside their staff rather than above them, they do not hover, and they are willing to mentor. Each office has its own support staff, and a dedicated litigation assistant manages most calendaring outside of discovery.
The firm offers an easy-going, team-oriented environment where no one treats a task as someone else's job. Performance is reviewed every year, raises follow, and the position can grow into a senior or lead paralegal title. The role is onsite in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
