Child Care Worker
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Graduate or GED required.
- Experience working with school age children preferred.
REPORTS TO: Child Care Director/Coordinator
SUPERVISES: N/A
JOB GOAL: To provide a quality child care program that meets state, federal and district guidelines and requirements.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in carrying out program goals and objectives.
- Develops, facilitates, and carries out daily planned activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of child care environment.
- Obtain First Aid and CPR training and certification.
- Obtain 15 hours or more of state approved professional training annually.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: To be determined by supervisor
Salary: To be paid from Paraprofessional Salary Schedule
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually.
