What You'll Do

As a Para Plus Paraprofessional, you'll play an important role in helping students learn, grow, and participate confidently in their school communities.

You'll:

• Support students individually or in small groups with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

• Reinforce classroom instruction and individualized student support plans under teacher direction.

• Encourage student independence, engagement, and inclusion.

• Help students navigate classroom routines, transitions, and daily activities.

• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other school professionals.

• Create positive connections with students through patience, encouragement, and consistency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to meet applicable state and school district paraprofessional requirements.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to complete required training and background screening.

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus!

Experience as a paraprofessional, teacher's aide, childcare provider, behavior technician, or youth program professional is especially welcome.
