Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Information Systems Manager, provides intermediate-level IT and GIS support for City staff. Independently resolves routine and complex support requests; administers video management, surveillance, and access-control systems; maintains GIS data and publishes web maps and field applications; and trains and provides lead direction to Information Systems Technician I staff. Coordinates major system changes and security-related issues with the Information Systems Manager. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a high school diploma; and two (2) years of experience providing computer hardware, software, peripheral, user support, GIS data entry, mapping, or field data collection support. Related education, training, internships, or volunteer experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis. Additional Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess and maintain a valid Utah driver’s license. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and driving record check. Must be BCI certified, or able to become BCI certified within 3 months of hiring.
