Project Manager

Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Project Manager to support the DHS U.S. Coast Guard Deputy Commandant for Systems Program Management and Analytical Support Services (PMASS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR and maintain accountability for all Contractor work performed under the PWS.
• Provide guidance and direction for executive-level initiatives involving initiative management, business process development, business re-engineering, and strategic business projects.
• Manage high-complexity projects to completion within approved schedules, estimated timeframes, and resource constraints.
• Coordinate all parties assigned to tasks and review deliverables for completeness, quality, and adherence to Government requirements.
• Interpret Government policy, regulations, and directives and ensure their full and lawful application across PWS activities.
• Communicate effectively with executive-level personnel and provide executive-level coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP certification, DHS mid-level Project Management certification, or equivalent certification.
• 15+ years of project management experience; or at least 12 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Demonstrated leadership of executive-level initiatives, complex projects, cross-functional teams, quality reviews, policy interpretation, and executive communications/coaching.
