Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Position Duties: Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI/BPC, and associated systems across multi-region hybrid environments. Lead strategic SAP initiatives including S/4HANA transformations, cloud migrations, platform consolidations, and major version upgrades. Architect and administer SAP HANA, Oracle, and MaxDB database environments, including advanced performance engineering, system replication, high availability clustering, and disaster recovery frameworks. Establish governance models for transport management, system refresh strategy, security compliance, and change management across complex SAP landscapes. Design and implement enterprise-wide high availability and business continuity solutions, ensuring resilience of systems supporting critical financial, operational, and analytical processes. Perform advanced root cause analysis of complex system and database issues, providing expert-level resolution and preventative design improvements. Develop capacity planning models and performance benchmarks to support long-term infrastructure scaling. Provide authoritative guidance to infrastructure, security, cloud engineering, and application teams on SAP-related architecture and integration decisions. Serve as final escalation point for critical SAP production incidents. Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior administrators and project teams. Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and define strategic roadmaps to enhance reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency. Interface with SAP and third-party vendors on enterprise-level architectural planning and issue resolution.Job Requirements: Position requires a bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or SAP Developer, or Systems Administrator, or related.Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following skills: Linux or Unix; Oracle and MaxDB; Enterprise storage; SAP S/4HANA architecture; SAP HANA database administration; Experience architecting high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud-integrated SAP environments; and Cloud Infrastructure Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
